Any updates on the GPA 604E Series-II alnico Super Duplex?

I tried searching the forum and came up with nothing, maybe I need to refine my search..... I am just curious if there has been any more news/updates than what is posted on the GPA site?

BTW, PLEASE, PLEASE, I do not want this thread to turn into a p*ssing match about ferrite VS AlNiCo! Just dawned on me to call Bill! hahahaha!!

At this point in the game. I consider those who make extravagant claims about either as trolls. Magnet properties are well documented.

But regarding 604's, I think GPA has a couple Alnico versions. I also suspect they are built to order. A phone call to GPA, not email, is your best shot. Don't be surprised if you have to pay and wait a couple weeks. At least if I were GPA's manager that would be policy. Loose parts can become whatever speakers they fit, but once put into speakers they wait till someone wants THAT speaker. Inventory is cash tied up.

Roger that OG..... I am going to make another call today. I think they had closed up shop yesterday by the time I was free to call.... I found a post from last year with the last post asking ( this was Nov 2012) asking for any more news......Wasn't sure to piggy back on that one and bring it up and delete this one. Making the call now, I'll post any info I can.

In all honesty, I could care less about what magnet type is used, just as the end result sounds good! That is all that counts, right?
